↻ Reformat note
Re-generate from the original dictation with a different template. Your current edits to this note will be replaced (undoable).
🖱 tebDictate™ — dictate into your EHR
One dictation stream, everywhere. Inside tebIQ, Live Cursor types at your caret and understands voice commands (“tebIQ, go to room 6”). On any other website — Epic, Cerner, a portal — the tebDictate dock (a small floating pill) types the same dictation at that page's cursor. Whichever window you're looking at receives the text; commands only act inside tebIQ and are never typed into your EHR.
- Download tebDictate and unzip it.
- Open
chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top right). - Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
- Click the tebDictate pill on any page → Connect to tebIQ (one click, uses your current sign-in).
Use: click into any text field in your EHR, speak on your phone (open the tebIQ app's Dictation screen) — words appear at the cursor as you talk. The dock pill glows green while receiving.
📎 Context documents
Attach images, screenshots, PDFs, or text. The AI uses them as context the next time you Finalize, add an addendum, or ask tebIQ — they're not copied into the note verbatim.
or tap + New to start an encounter.

Nursing board
Who's where, what's pending. Amber chips are your tasks (click ✓ when done); blue chips are the doctor's active orders. Completing a task never writes into the chart.
Check in a patient
Creates or updates the chart and hands the nurse an intake + vitals task list. Allergies, meds, and problems you enter here are proposed — a clinician confirms them on the chart.
Payment cards are never scanned or stored — card-on-file is handled by the billing system.

Professional identity
Your NPI lets us fill in your credentials and specialty from the public CMS registry. It's optional — nothing in tebIQ is gated on it.
My signature
Stamped onto reports you attest (e.g. board reports). This is an attestation stamp with an audit trail — not a certified e-signature service. Only you can add or replace your signature.
Transcription mode
How your dictation becomes text. Batch records first, then transcribes (works offline). Live shows the text as you speak.
Voice commands
While Live Cursor is on, say a wake word then a command — “command, go to room 6”, “command, finalize”, “command, help”. Pick words speech-to-text hears reliably (plain dictionary words work best; “tebIQ” often mis-transcribes). Commands only fire when a real command verb follows, so saying a wake word mid-sentence never breaks your dictation.
Comma-separated; the first word is shown in hints. Saved on this browser.
Workspace
Which home screen greets you when you sign in — tuned to how you see patients. Notes, patients, and the chart are the same everywhere.
New home experience Beta
Adds an Encounters ⇄ Rounds switch to your Notes home. Encounters is today's list, unchanged; Rounds is a rounding board of your multi-day courses — grouped by care team, with a seen / to-go count. Turn it on to try it; turn it off to go back anytime.
Default specialty
The specialty template your new notes start on when you don't pick one. Leaving it unset lets the router guess from the words — which is how an ED encounter can come out as a cardiology note. Pick yours so the right template always fires.
My site
The campus/location you're working at. Your triage queue and attending board show only patients at your site. Leave it on the default if your clinic has a single location.

Dot phrases
Reusable text macros. Two ways to fire them: type .trigger then a space or punctuation and it expands in place; or by voice say “add my <label>” (voice can’t say the dot, so use the label — and give it 2+ words, single-word labels are ignored to avoid false hits). Works in AI and plain modes, in the note and the ScratchPad.
Import
Paste your existing dot phrases. One per line: .trigger: text, .trigger | Label: text, or trigger = text. Multi-line bodies are kept.
CSV columns: trigger, label, content (header optional). Great for Epic SmartPhrase exports.

My buttons premium
Your own one-tap AI actions. Write an instruction, name it, and the button appears on every note beside Note / Transcript. Tap it to run your instruction over the note and see the result in a popup. Up to 10.
Patient-facing options
Turn these on for your own notes. Your practice admin can make one available or required for everyone — when they do, the switch here shows their decision and you can't change it.
Discharge instructions
Default language for the patient discharge-instructions handout. You can still switch language per-patient in the popup, and it always links to the NIH MedlinePlus trusted-source page for the diagnosis.
